Microsoft Gold Partner and Member of the Microsoft President Club, Mint Management Technologies announced the launch of its Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Innovation Portal, on 11 January 2016.
The ECM Innovation Portal facilitates organisations to tap into the workforce and bolster the use of ideas and knowledge hosted by employees for continuous problem-solving, growth and innovation, states Mint ECM Director Francois Pienaar, adding that employees hold both the biggest potential for success and the biggest risk a business faces.
"As one of the largest overheads, an underperforming or mismanaged workforce can threaten the survival of an enterprise, but an inspired and well-directed team can accomplish great feats and leapfrog the competition," he warns.

Mint uses Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 as the basis for its Innovation Portal, taking advantage of the most advanced collaboration and content management tools in the market.
A simple five-step wizard-driven process, the Innovation Portal guides users from inspiration, through incubation and into implementation. "The portal's main aim is to gather ideas from the workforce, thus fast tracking innovation in today's super competitive business environment," mentions Pienaar.
From tracking communication to effective document delivery and great working spaces, a massive selling point is the ability for organisations to utilise their existing technology investments," he notes, adding that the Innovation Portal can also be deployed to an organisation's Office 365 environment.
Pienaar concludes that, as employees are the collective eyes and ears of an organisation with the ability to observe every detail of every aspect of a business, the sharing of information must be facilitated in a directed, positive and constructive way.
"The Innovation Portal drives advancements across a workforce - connecting thoughts and ideas and fostering creativity and knowledge sharing, ultimately, solving everyday business problems with technology."
