Global technology innovator Mint Group won the Dynamics Business Applications Partner of the Year, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Partner of the Year, Microsoft Consulting Services Partner of the Year, and Business Applications Power Platform Partner of the Year accolades at the prestigious Microsoft Partner Awards 2020.
The annual awards acknowledge Microsoft partners demonstrating excellence in the innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. Award entrants from across South Africa were recognised at the first-ever virtual local Partner Awards.
“We are very proud to have achieved four top accolades for FY20 and even more thrilled to receive the Dynamics award for the fourth year in a row,” stated Mint Group CEO Carel du Toit.
“These recognitions reflect our ongoing commitment to the innovation of technology to transform organisations, place people first and create tomorrow.” He added that Mint Group’s rapid response to the global pandemic to ensure business continuity and ongoing transformation for itself and its clients contributed to the successes achieved.
“Mint comprises employees from across the globe that are passionate, driven and engaged and constantly pulling together to simplify complexity and drive transformation. We are helping clients adapt to the new digital age by crafting solutions that have a tangible market impact, built on the ever-evolving Microsoft technologies.”
Mint Group Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Peter Reid added that, in addition to winning the AI Partner of the Year award in 2019, he is exhilarated at being named the partner of choice for AI innovation for a second time. “We have come a long way with the intelligent roadmaps established for our clients and are powering intelligent campuses, hospitals, banks and retail environments across Africa. It is exciting to be part of the change and to be building a better tomorrow driven by artificial intelligence.”
Democratising cloud technology
With Mint Group cementing its position as a leading cloud solution provider (CSP) through the establishment of a Channel division in 2019, the organisation is continuously evolving its cloud offering, ensuring that clients have access to the best-of-breed solutions, skills and guidance, states Mint Group Head of Channel, Pieter du Toit.
He added that, by working closely with Microsoft, strategically choosing partners for success and continuously evolving clients’ technology roadmaps, Mint Group is reaching new frontiers with cloud adoption.
“Our solution offering keeps growing, availing unique ways for organisations to access and reap the benefits that cloud technology offers. The productisation of Mint’s Azure models on the Azure Marketplace is only one of these examples.”
Mint South Africa Managing Director Wilhelm van Rensburg extended congratulations to all of the other winners and finalists at the 2020 awards. “A win for one of us is a win for us all as we keep pushing the boundaries of technology, learning from each other and innovating together.
None of this, however, would be possible without the clients who place their trust and future evolvement in our hands. As such, we would like to thank our clients for allowing us to empower them through technology, and our Minties for helping us achieve excellence, break barriers, cross borders and change the face of industries through technology.”
Van Rensburg concluded that Mint Group’s biggest responsibility and privilege is to drive technology innovation to create a better tomorrow.”
