Gartner, Inc, the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, recently announced the completion of its acquisition of META Group, Inc, a premier information technology research and consulting firm.
Peter Riches, managing director, META Group South Africa (PTY) Ltd said, "This announcement has enabled the commencement of discussions on the implications for our clients in South Africa."
Riches confirmed, "It has been agreed that METAmorphosis 2005 Conference will be held as planned at the Caesars Convention Centre from 24-26 May. The content will be the same as that delivered at the San Francisco METAmorphosis Conference in March 2005. In addition our South African event represents a great opportunity to clarify what to expect as our clients transition to Gartner."
