System Blueprint is designed for companies that develop and integrate software applications. It assists organisations with the aligning of strategic and operational requirements.
MEGA System Blueprint provides a model-driven approach for the analysis and design of applications, and focuses on the logical specification of an IT architecture supporting a business activity.
Industry leaders for EA conference
The Open Group had announced its line-up of speakers for the 20th Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Conference, states ITnewsonline.
Ron Tolido, CTO of Continental Europe & Asia Pacific, Capgemini, and Peter Hustinx, data protection supervisor of the European Commission, will deliver keynote speeches at the conference, to be held 20-22 October in Munich.
Additional speakers for the conference will address both enterprise architecture and secure architectures, particularly related to the increasing application of Web 2.0 and cloud computing technologies within large globally distributed businesses.
Call for higher EA standards
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has called for Enterprise Architecture (EA) standards to be set higher and enforced, reports FWC.com.
The OMB assessed the architecture office of various agencies based on basic achievements and scored agencies higher for taking early steps toward developing architecture and using it.
In the second quarter of 2008, 25 of the 27 agencies that OMB tracks had done enough to receive a green score, the highest level on the score card.
