Maitland implements SunGard's Asset Arena for front to back-office investment processing

SunGard (http://www.sungard.com) today announced that the fund services division of Maitland, a leading provider of fund administration services, has completed its implementation of SunGard's Asset Arena, which will support a broad range of front to back-office investment processing functions.

Maitland has over US$45 billion in assets under administration, servicing an international client base from a platform based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Maitland's fund administration and reporting solutions, which cover front, middle and back-office processes across a wide range of fund types (including hedge funds and offshore portfolios) as well as multiple investment strategies, are delivered through an integrated Asset Arena platform for trading, compliance, portfolio management and investment accounting.
