Sales and distribution of a wide range of lingerie and swimwear imported from France, Germany, Austria, Italy, England and the USA is being managed through a Sage CRM software solution implemented by business software specialist Lorge, for five Barclay & Clegg stores, three located in Johannesburg and two in Pretoria.
Gustav Du Plessis of Lorge corporate sales says the solution provides accurate collection and management of customer details as well as the marketing of a range of highly respected international lingerie brands.
He adds that Sage CRM training and demonstrations have been implemented by Lorge over the past three months, and a monthly newsletter sent to 2 000 subscribers assists with the accurate tracking of women loyal to specific brands of Barclay & Clegg lingerie and swimwear.
"The software also tracks which brands are popular with specific customers," says Sianne Carter, marketing co-ordinator at Barclay & Clegg. "Monitoring and loyalty tracking of the popularity of various brands of lingerie through the Sage CRM software ensures that we are able to import the lingerie brands that our customers want, while at the same time streamlining the overall sales process."
Carter adds that Sage is recognised as a global leader in the provision of scalable sets of ERP and CRM solutions that deliver lasting benefits and reduced cost of ownership across a broad spread of industries.
"Businesses need high quality, state-of-the-art accounting and business software solutions such as Sage CRM to ensure they are competitive and successful. Adding value to clients while they experience the ambiance of the stores is achieved with staff that are trained lingerie specialists, ensuring professional fittings and expert advice regarding the options available for specific body types," concludes Barclay & Clegg stores owner and manager Maureen Esterhysen.
