SAP Business One solutions provider 4most has been contracted by strategy and transformation consultancy Letsema Consulting & Advisory to supply, implement, commission and support an accounting and ERP software solution at the Letsema headquarters in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
4most will deliver full financials, sales, purchasing, and service management functionality for consultants, timesheets, and workflow approval procedures, alerts, CRM and sales. The solution will also integrate with MS Office.
Pankaj Pema, Head of Business One at SAP Africa, said: “SAP Africa is proud to be associated with 4most South Africa and the roll-out and delivery of SAP Business One into Letsema Consulting. With over 15 000 active users across Africa on SAP Business One and globally over 31 000 companies, it is increasingly becoming evident that companies in Africa are seeking solutions that are fully integrated, allow them to grow easily and are functionality rich enough to expand into different business models as their businesses mature.”
Letsema Consulting & Advisory was established in 1995 as the first black-owned and managed management consulting firm in South Africa. Since inception, Letsema has provided business consultancy and financial consulting services to clients in the energy, transportation and logistics, defence, development finance, government and private sectors.
Alex Viviers, sales director at 4most, said the many benefits that Letsema Consulting expects to derive from the 4most SAP Business One solution include the creation of a platform with the financial module as the first step in implementation. “Following this, we will undertake the establishment of full business solution integration with iPads and iPhones. This will enable consultants to remotely source core suite applications, including timesheets, project details and costings.”
Letsema's predominant focus is to improve operational efficiency and enhance enterprise performance to direct meaningful and sustained growth for its clients. The 4most Business One solution operates on a LAN and offers a real-time fully integrated system providing complete ERP functionality. It is expected to go live at the end of August 2011.
Pankaj Pema concludes: “We look forward to utilising best practices learned from this implementation as we have done over the past 35 years in SAP to ensure we add value, deliver strong ROI and faster improved implementations to other similar companies and industries within Africa and beyond.”
