Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa has launched a new range of A4 monochrome ECOSYS products, designed to help companies manage their print output more securely and efficiently than ever before, while significantly reducing their environmental impact. Built with long-life components, the unit’s first print times are up to 13% faster than previous generations, have up to four toner capacity options, and feature more eco-friendly settings and low consumption levels.
This new ECOSYS series is the latest addition to Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa’s A4 monochrome high-speed laser portfolio. These cutting-edge devices have been updated to successfully print higher volumes, so that users can manage their increasing print output in a more efficient and eco-friendly manner.
The ECOSYS P3145dn, ECOSYS P3150dn, ECOSYS P3155dn and ECOSYS P3260dn combine high productivity with sustainability. The range’s refreshed design distinguishes it from previous generations, as does the updated feature set, developed to enhance the user experience as well as overall performance.
These four new products represent the latest update to Kyocera’s leading ECOSYS line-up. With the creation of its ECOSYS technology in 1992, the company has championed eco-friendly printing, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to protecting the environment. Kyocera brought environmental awareness to the industry by taking steps to consciously reduce waste generation and minimise the energy consumption of printing machines. ECOSYS technology was designed to fuse the concepts of Ecology, Economy, and Systems, bringing remarkable environmentally conscious products to market.
The ECOSYS P3145dn, ECOSYS P3150dn, ECOSYS P3155dn and ECOSYS P3260dn printers operate at high productivity rates and register first print times that are up to 13% faster than previous generations. This improvement is down to the new polygon motor control flow employed in the devices’ systems. Such features optimise the devices’ start times, which therefore speeds up the initial print process.
Another added benefit for end-users is that these devices are also compatible with up to four different capacities of toner.
As with all ECOSYS machines which are aimed at minimising environmental impact, Kyocera has designed and integrated more eco-friendly settings into these devices’ systems to promote sustainability. The units are cartridge-free and built with long-life components, which reduces manufacturing and maintenance requirements. The eco-friendly pulp packaging adds a further tick to the devices’ environmental checklist. With noticeably low consumption levels, companies will benefit by cutting back on print-related energy usage and costs.
A Data Security Kit feature has been included as a new way to offer companies the option of additional data storage, in addition to the use of integrated advanced data encryption elements. For superior security, the kit enables data to be encrypted even before being stored on a hard disc. This new element provides a user-friendly and convenient way for companies to protect their confidential documents, information and assets.
“At Kyocera, we truly believe in striving for greatness. That is why we are always looking to upgrade and improve our key product ranges, such as our ECOSYS range. Thanks to these latest developments, companies can drive their print efficiency whilst also improving their environmental sustainability and information security at the same time by acquiring the ECOSYS P3145dn, ECOSYS P3150dn, ECOSYS P3155dn and ECOSYS P3260dn devices,” concludes Sharon Peché, Marketing and Communications Manager at Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa.
