Networks for today`s business environments need to be fast, efficient and reliable. To ensure network speed and efficiency, you have to examine all active components in your network...in a live, operating environment. Yet - until now - no one has been able to do that.
KRONE revolutionised the TrueNET structured cabling system - the only advanced cabling network solution on the market today that maximises data throughput, enabling a network to deliver the bandwidth for which it was designed. Network designers have always known that impedance is important - that`s the reason for the long-established standard impedance value of 100 (+/- 15) ohms for network components. But tests show that this "acceptable" range may be too great. The bottom line is, when network components are not impedance matched, the network slows down. Throughput suffers and you may not even know it, because the link lights are on.
TrueNET cable is based upon a patent-pending technology. This product design and manufacturing innovation fine-tunes each cable pair to achieve operating impedance of 100+/-3 ohms. The cable is also tuned to the various system components, such as connectors, to achieve a 100+/-3 ohms impedance throughout the cabling systems - from NIC to server.
To demonstrate the concrete benefits of this throughput technology, KRONE has now developed new testing methodologies which examine the entire network - while it`s under operation.
This testing capability is known as `LeCroy`s Network Diagnostic System`.
LeCroy is a well-respected manufacturer of high performance electronic signal acquisition and analysis products, designed to help engineers diagnose network performances. This includes diagnosing network slowtime, which handheld diagnostic devices are not able to detect at all.
LeCroy`s technology is used extensively in on-site customer network testing to demonstrate the capabilities of KRONE`s TrueNET system. Upon testing active networks, it can see the electrical signals on the physical layer and decode the results up through the application layer. LeCroy has documentation on 1000`s of 10-Base-T and 100-Base-T nodes, showing bit errors caused by structured cabling.
This focus has made KRONE the premier Network Cabling Experts in the market place today.
And now, with direct access to this unique technology, KRONE`s introduction of additional throughput enhancement solutions will be accelerated in the future.
