Konica Minolta South Africa establishes new medical company

Konica Minolta South Africa, a subsidiary of the Bidvest Group of companies, has announced the formation of a new company specialising in computer and digital radiology, called Konica Minolta Medical South Africa.

According to Alan Griffith, Konica Minolta South Africa MD, the company was prompted to enter this market with the introduction of the new flat panel detector system from Konica Minolta Medical Japan. “This will allow the most affordable migration from CR to DR radiology without having to replace your existing hardware,” he explains.

Konica Minolta Medical South Africa will exhibit all of its new hardware and software products at the SORSA-RSSA show in Durban, from 4 to 6 March 2011.
