Jumping Bean announced the launching of its Kubernetes training course on Monday, 18 March, in partnership with the Linux Foundation.
"Kubernetes is the new must-have skill," said Mark Clarke, Jumping Bean's Technology Sensei. "Since 2017, Kubernetes has steadily been increasing in popularity and has grown to dominate the container orchestration space."
Jumping Bean's Kubernetes course is a three-day hands-on training course. The course objectives cover the domains and competencies of the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
"The CKA certification is the industry-recognised qualification of Kubernetes competence," said Clarke. Over 2019, Jumping Bean intends to introduce further container and container management courses to meet demand as robust growth in the demand for container skill is expected over the next 24 months.
"The cloud will continue to revolutionise how IT is done and managed over the next decade," said Clarke. "Although it is an evolution from existing technologies, it has introduced a new level of abstraction that allows business's information system professionals greater speed and efficiency in bringing solutions into play."
Kubernetes is an open source container orchestration for automating application deployment, scaling and management that defines a set of building blocks that collectively provide mechanisms that deploy, maintain and scale applications based on CPU, memory or custom metrics.
