ContactCenterWorld is a global association for contact centre best practices and networking, and Inter-Active Technologies featured highly at the EMEA gala dinner conference, which was attended by approximately 150 industry leaders from the region, at the InterContinental Hotel, in Vienna.
Inter-Active Technologies' Quality Auditor, Sonelle Buys, was named as the recipient of the highly coveted gold award for her excellent performance in her role at the company. Operations Manager Werner Botha and Top Call Centre Agent Tshegofatso Majwati both did the company proud after being named as bronze award winners in their respective categories. Inter-Active Technologies Supervisor, Aatish Maharaj, was awarded fourth place in his category.
Inter-Active Technologies Managing Director Jacqui van Staaden believes the company's employees have set a fine example, not only to their colleagues, but also to the local industry as a whole. "I would personally like to congratulate our team members on their remarkable achievements at this prestigious event. They have done themselves, our company and the local contact centre industry proud," she says.
Background to 2013 awards
This year, the eighth year of the annual Top Ranking Performer 'Best Practice' Awards from ContactCenterWorld.com - The Global Association for Contact Centre Best Practices & Networking - saw more than 1 500 entries from around the world. In EMEA, there were more than 600 entries from over 28 nations and only the best qualified after vigorous screening by judges based in America, Canada and Asia-Pacific. The finalists who presented in Vienna are the elite of the industry, and in many cases, the difference between gold and silver were minimal.
The gold medal winners in EMEA have the first option to compete in Las Vegas (11 to 15 November) against the best from Asia-Pacific and the Americas - it truly is the elite in the industry competing but also sharing best practices!
