An affordable complete IP network is now available throughout Avianto Lifestyle Estate, one of South Africa's first integrated estates. Fibre Internet, voice and video services are now easily accessible to occupants. This initiative is powered by leading South African telecoms and Internet service provider, BitCo.
Avianto seeks to be the premier living and business estate in Northern Gauteng. BitCo has made this possible by providing next-generation technology throughout the estate. This is Metro Ethernet signalling over a fibre-optic backbone.

Current perception is that fibre to the home services are too expensive for the end-consumers because of the cost involved with laying fibre. BitCo aims to collaborate with more residential estates and corporate offices park on similar projects. Each location can be used as exchange nodes. This helps BitCo to increase its fibre footprint. The larger the footprint, the more economic fibre will be for BitCo consumers.
