Integr8 IT, South Africa's largest privately owned, fully empowered network and infrastructure management company, has been singled out by the publishers of South Africa's Top Performing Companies incorporating the Public Sector, as one of South Africa's Top Performing Companies for 2007.
South Africa's Top Performing Companies incorporating the Public Sector is an annual publication brought to market by the business-to-business communications media house, Top Companies Publishing and Events.
The publication is designed to showcase the strength, entrepreneurial success and business acumen of local businesses.
Integr8 IT received the recognition for what the publishers state as "sustained excellence in corporate performance". As a result, the company will be listed in the eighth edition of the publication, due for release in the fourth quarter of 2007, and based on meeting specific criteria.
"To be considered, companies must meet entry criteria that includes turnover, quality of operation, triple bottom line performance, SED spend, ISO accreditation and growth," says Richard Fletcher, Chairman of Top Companies Publishing and Events.
The acknowledgement of Integr8 IT's position as a leader and top performer followed an intensive investigation by the publication's researchers. Every year these researchers investigate and analyse the performance of more than 3 000 organisations across 150 sectors.
Fletcher continues: "Top Performing Companies is the foremost South African business-to-business publication due to its relevance to today's decision-makers. It presents a comprehensive platform of marketing solutions that companies continue to successfully utilise. We are pleased to include Integr8 IT into this important listing and market the achievement of this dynamic, young company."
The ICT sector remains as competitive as ever, says Lance Fanaroff, joint MD of Integr8 IT, who suggests this makes the achievement all the more significant.
"It is an honour to be identified among South Africa's corporate elite. We operate in a growing, highly competitive market space and there is a constant need to keep up with the pace of change and levels of innovation. The ICT industry plays a direct role in the general performance of most businesses today, so this recognition means a great deal and reinforces our strategy and direction moving forward," adds Fanaroff.
