IndigoCube appoints Raymond Myburgh as head of HR Solutions

IndigoCube, a company committed to enhancing its customers' key business processes, has appointed Raymond Myburgh to head up its new HR Solutions business unit. The unit will draw much of its strategy and direction from Konetic, which IndigoCube is now distributing. He has been appointed as business manager.

IndigoCube is South Africa's leading developer of business analysts, and provides other IT solutions and offerings. The Konetic distribution and Myburgh's appointment dovetail with the company's overall strategy.

Myburgh joins the company from Jobs.co.za, where he was head of business development, responsible for sales, client relations, customer care and the helpdesk.

Prior to that, he had a diverse career, embracing five years in sales in the mining and construction sector; two years with Boehringer Ingelheim; and 12 years in the recruitment and HR sector. This included three years at Emmanuels and eight with CareerJunction, South Africa's leading jobs portal.

He studied Communications Science at North West University (then known as Pukke, or Potchefstroom University) and is busy with a PMD through the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

Myburgh's key task will be to help set strategic direction for his division and grow the business in line with its success elsewhere in the world.

A family man, Myburgh enjoys watching sport, golf, when he has time, cooking and socialising.

“Konetic was founded in 1999 and specialises in the e-recruitment software market,” says Myburgh. “Its flagship product, Konetic Recruit, is a modular, browser-based e-recruitment solution for companies hiring tens or tens of thousands of employees on an annual basis. It streamlines recruitment-related workflows for recruiters, line managers, candidates and recruitment agencies.”

Konetic Recruit is designed to be integrated with a wide range of HR and recruitment services such as job boards, social media sites, psychometric testing and HR and payroll systems. Konetic also provides data-driven reporting for effective decision-making throughout the recruitment process.

“Raymond comes to us with a strong track record,” says IndigoCube MD Ziaan Hattingh. “We can see that Konetic will be a big success in the market, especially with the strategic direction of Raymond.”
