Johannesburg, 18 May 1999

Deal positions top visual content site as provider of images to the Netscape image library

IMSI has entered into a definitive agreement with Netscape that will position IMSI`s ArtToday.com as the preferred visual content provider to the Netscape Image Library, part of the newly launched Netscape Site Central free home page service on Netcenter.

Under the terms of the agreement, IMSI - software developer and creator of the fastest growing visual content and graphics portal on the Internet - will provide select visual content from its ArtToday web site to the Netscape Image Library.

In return, ArtToday.com -one of the world`s top visual content web sites - will receive web site links, co-branding opportunities, and advertising on the Netscape Netcenter site. In conjunction with the web site links, anyone joining ArtToday through Netscape during a special three-month kick-off promotion will qualify for a special ArtToday subscription price of $24.95.

ArtToday will receive additional promotion by integration into the Netscape Open Directory, Netscape Search, Smart Browsing, and What`s Related Links. Netscape also will include a 30-day trial to ArtToday via the In-Box Direct program.

"The addition of visual content from ArtToday to the Netscape Image Library, part of the new Netscape Site Central free home page service on Netcenter, is a benefit to consumers and small businesses who want to visually enhance their web sites," says Kris Kleinsmith, program manager for Site Central at Netscape. "Site Central web site owners can easily add the free ArtToday images to their pages to create great-looking web sites."

ArtToday.com is one of the largest subscription-based online providers of visual content in the world, offering more than 750,000 unique clip art, web art, photos, and fonts. The site has subscribers paying up to $29.95 a year for unlimited access to visual content.

"We`re thrilled about this relationship with Netscape - which fits in well with our ongoing strategy to transition a significant portion of our business to the Internet," says Martin Sacks, president and chief executive officer for IMSI. "This relationship enables us to draw more targeted subscribers to ArtToday - and will enable us to assist Netscape in the formation of its Image Library for Netcenter."

IMSI has one of the largest and most diverse visual content collections in the world. The collection includes its Internet sites, ArtToday.com, ClipArt.com (www.clipart.com), and BarrysClipArt.com (www.barrysclipart.com), and a variety of retail products sold within the MasterClipsÒ Premium Image Collection and its new corporate Intranet solution, MasterClips Image Server.
