National Tender Bulletin sees several government entities making their first forays onto the tech marketplace for the year.

The National Tender Bulletin retained its slim appearance this week as government procurement continues to maintain a low profile. The ICT sector, however, fairs well as several government entities return to the bulletin to make their first forays into tech for the year.

The returning organisations include the Financial Services Board, KwaZulu-Natal Legislature and National Home Builders Registration Council; while the Central Energy Fund makes its first direct call to the market.

Advertisements for services lead the issue, followed closely by software requests with both numbering in the double digits. Hardware interest is maintained with seven notices for the sector to consider. The telecommunications industry also retains its appeal with three tenders focused its way.
