The annual African ICT Achievers Awards programme has issued a call for nominations.
The programme is jointly run by ICT research house ForgeAhead and the Department of Communications. The awards recognise top individuals and organisations which have contributed to the development of ICT across Africa, created a better understanding of the use of technology and increased service delivery through ICT.
Endorsed by Nepad, this year's programme theme is "Making the African century a reality".
The categories are divided into organisational and individual awards, and nominations can be submitted online by 24 August.
The winners will be announced at a gala banquet on 17 November, at the Sandton Convention Centre.
