Local wireless connectivity provider iBurst has increased its number of base stations to 200.
In a statement, company CEO Thami Mtshali said its latest base station had been switched on three months ahead of schedule.
The base station is situated in Randburg and adds to the existing iBurst wireless infrastructure in the area.
"Randburg is going through a major regeneration process and iBurst is pleased to be able to join other companies in their quest to uplift the central business district in particular," said Mtshali.
