I-Soft Solutions is to launch their locally developed, working e-commerce solution in May. In addition, the company will be presenting its web enabled version of OMNIX Software. This follows the organisation`s commitment to providing clients with the latest available technology.
"We already have clients that are using our business-to-business e-commerce technology, and they are extremely happy with the results," says Roly Lautenbach, R & D Director of I-Soft Solutions. " We can now offer a facility that allows their suppliers to place orders when it suits them, 24 hours a day, from anywhere in the world, and their back office is updated immediately," says Lautenbach.
With the web enablement of OMNIX, the web user can log into OMNIX via the Internet and can query the status of outstanding orders, stock availability etc. In addition, selected debtors can now also view their accounts via the Web.
As an Internet Service Provider, I-Soft Solutions can supply clients with a web server. All that the client requires is a web browser i.e. Windows Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator and the appropriate OMNIX Web Modules.
The effect of these web applications for I-Soft Solutions` clients is that they can now provide a better service to their customers.
