The HP Omnibook 6100 notebook PC is now available from Tarsus Technologies, distribution arm of JSE-listed MB Technologies. HP`s Omnibook 6100 notebook PC combines all the best features of the current product line with an entirely new design for high-performance business computing.
According to HP business development manager at Tarsus Technologies, Jason McMillan: "The Omnibook 6100 notebook is a reliable and compatible mobile solution, with industry-leading security, and low cost of ownership."
"Mobility has become extremely important for South African professionals," says McMillan. "More and more companies are beginning to realise the benefits of mobile computing, and consequently are replacing their desktop PCs with notebooks. Additionally, the gap between mobile and desktop technologies is beginning to blur and with it, the price differential."
The HP Omnibook 6100 was specifically designed for flexibility and expandability. "It includes 128MB or 256MB of PC-133 SDRAM, expandable to 1GB. Its front-loading module bay accommodates a standard floppy disk drive, a standard 24x max speed CD-ROM or 8x max speed DVD-ROM drive, or second hard drive," continues McMillan.
Furthermore, the HP Omnibook 6100 accessories are fully compatible with that of the HP Omnibook 500. McMillan concludes: "For the ultimate flexibility, users can now choose from a long list of accessories, from wireless-ready communication capabilities to docking stations, security solutions, and carrying cases."
