HP names Ime Umo as Managing Director and Technology Solutions lead for HP West Africa

Ime Umo has been appointed as the Managing Director and Technology Solutions Group lead for West Africa, a promotion from his previous role as the head of the TSG business group for HP Nigeria.

Ime who joined HP in 2004, is a seasoned IT Sales professional with 16 years of experience, from several large multi-national organizations in West Africa. He has a strong background in business-to-business sales as well as an excellent knowledge of the West African IT markets.

The West African operational area will cover Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.

Rainer Koch, Managing Director and Technology Solutions Group lead for HP Africa, welcomes Ime to the position of Managing Director for West Africa. "Ime has a wealth of experience in driving sales related strategies in the region. He has spent the last few months proving his commitment to steering HP in Africa towards greater growth. He has our full support in his new appointment." Ime's appointment is with immediate effect.
