New HP SureStore T20 Offers the Most Complete Backup Solution for Servers, Peer-to-peer Networks and PC Workstations, at an Industry-leading Price

Hewlett-Packard Company has introduced the HP SureStore T20 tape drive, an easy-to-use backup solution for small businesses. The HP SureStore T20 includes bundled Replica Backup software for HP SureStore tape from Stac, Inc., which gives the T20 several ease-of-use advantages. One-Button Backup allows users to back up a complete server hard drive by simply clicking on a single icon. A built-in scheduler allows backups to occur at any time, unattended. Set-up is simplified by Replica`s Install/Configuration Wizard. Replica Backup effectively provides zero server down time for backup by enabling users to remain logged on and working during backup, with full read/write access to all files on the server during the process. Open-file errors are eliminated automatically. For quick restore of individual files, Replica makes it possible to use Windows Explorer to drag-and-drop files from the backup tape to the server`s hard drive. Replica also provides software data compression and automatic software data verification capabilities, and features the TapeAlert monitoring utility for added reliability.

For PC workstations or peer-to-peer networks running Windows 95 and Windows NT Workstation, the HP SureStore T20 includes HP Colorado Backup software which provides fast, full-PC backup and restore as well as
