* Company named as Sage ERP X3's 4 000th customer at Global Convention.

Norwegian energy company, Green Resources, has announced it has selected Sage ERP X3, a leading global mid-market enterprise resource planning solution, to streamline and simplify its business processes as it continues to accelerate business growth.

Green Resources has also been named as Sage ERP X3's 4 000th customer, at its Global Convention inBerlin. The fully integrated business management solution will be deployed across multiple territories, including sites inUganda,Tanzania,Mozambique,Norwayand theUK, as part of a 300-user international roll-out. Sage ERP X3 will provide the company with operational control across accounting, procurement and inventory functions, ultimately helping to manage the organisation's costs more effectively.

Mads Asprem, CEO of Green Resources, explains: "We are really pleased that Sage has recognised us as its 4 000th customer globally, as our multi-country organisation reflects the scalability and flexibility of the solution. Our company has grown exponentially over the past decade, but to ensure our consistent growth and leading position in the market, we needed an ERP solution that offered us visibility across the entire company and centralised our management systems. Sage ERP X3 offers the standardisation, compliance, automation and control that will help run the organisation more effectively and eventually reduce our costs. We will also be integrating the manufacturing and HR functions in to the solution later in 2013 to establish ERP X3 as the central hub for our business."

Staying true to the green agenda, Green Resources will also be the first site in the UKto implement Sage ERP X3's EDM Solution, an electronic document management system which has been designed specifically to help efficiently store and archive documents.

Developed for mid-sized companies and subsidiaries of large groups with international demands, Sage ERP X3 gives users the freedom to choose a desktop or Web interface, which is cost-effective to deploy and easy to integrate, offering outstanding scalability and performance. Thanks to its intuitive design, the robustness of its technology and global capabilities, Sage ERP X3 is a natural fit for Green Resources.

"Sage ERP X3 has proven itself as the ideal business management solution for mid-sized organisations looking to expand their global footprint, and will be a huge coup for Green Resources, as it drives business expansion. Complete with its global capabilities, unrivalled usability and rapid implementation, the system will transform business insight for the company, deliver ROI and support Green Resources as it grows," comments Christophe Vanackere, Head of Sales and Marketing for Sage Mid-Market Europe.
