JSE-listed Faritec faces a suspension of its listing if it fails to submit its annual report by the end of the month.
However, the black-empowered IT services and solutions company has assured shareholders that its annual report should be posted around 15 January.
Yesterday, the JSE warned the company that it faced suspension of its shares if it did not submit its annual report by the end of the month, as it had failed to submit its annual reports within the six-month period stipulated in the bourse's listings requirements
The JSE also said that it had annotated the company's listing on its trading system with RE to indicate that the company had failed to submit its annual reports timeously and its listing was "under threat of suspension and possible termination".
Faritec responded on the JSE's news service yesterday afternoon, advising shareholders that its annual report for the year ended June 2006 "in the process of being printed and will be submitted to the JSE and posted to shareholders on or about 15 January 2007".
Faritec's shares tracked down slightly yesterday and lost 5c on the previous day's close to end the day at R1.15.
