Exact, a provider of business software solutions, has introduced a solution designed to meet the diverse software needs and budget requirements of job shops and specialty contract manufacturers, says Financial Post.

Under the umbrella of ease of ownership, job shops of all sizes will be able to take advantage of the shop management capabilities that come with the solution, Exact JobBoss, according to the company.

“The world is changing, and shop owners must adapt quickly to take advantage of the opportunities that present themselves in the market,” says Matt Heerey, Exact JobBoss general manager. “This new approach to delivering JobBoss will allow our future customers to determine which offering best meets the needs of both their shop and their budget.”

Appian upgrades BPM suite

Appian, an enterprise and on-demand business process management (BPM) technology firm, has released the latest edition of the Appian BPM Suite, reports TMCnet.

Appian said this architectural milestone extends the company's position as the leader in BPM technology innovation.

According to company officials, the release significantly advances Appian customers' ability to create process applications that seamlessly integrate their enterprise data and scale to handle extremely large process volumes and load.

Streamline installs hospital audit software

Streamline Health Solutions, a supplier of hospital document workflow software, said it has successfully implemented the first installation of its AuditAce product at Children's National Hospital in Washington, writes Cincinatti.com.

Streamline introduced the audit software to the market earlier this year. Children's National officials noted they have already benefited from the workflow's ease of use and audit efficiency applications.

"Our team is very enthusiastic about the audit solution delivered by Streamline Health," said Sandra Walter, corporate compliance officer at Children's National. "The flexible AuditAce solution facilitates our risk assessment methodologies with improved operational efficiencies and advanced capabilities to meet our future needs."
