Engineering Informatics wins SAP award

Engineering Informatics has won the prestigious "SAP Partner Excellence Award - Service Partners" at the gala SAP Partner Awards function held by SAP Africa for its partner community at the Sandton Convention Centre.

The award recognises SAP partners with the highest customer satisfaction rating, as recorded by the SAP customer satisfaction surveys, and signifies that Engineering Informatics is considered by SAP customers as providing the highest standard of customer service among all SAP service partners.

Claas Kuehnemann, Managing Director of SAP Africa, said at the function that a large part of the success of SAP in the marketplace is due to its very strong partnership programme, and the value added by partners during the implementation of SAP systems at major clients. SAP would not have been in the dominant position it is in the ERP market, if it did not have the support of such a strong consulting and partner community.

Engineering Informatics is a SAP Africa partner that specialises exclusively in providing solutions in enterprise content management (including document and records management) based on the SAP platform. While EI is a South African based company, it is internationally recognised as a leader in the ECM field, and is involved in many major SAP implementations internationally, ranging from Australasia through the Middle East to Europe and North America.

Abie Spies, Managing Director of Engineering Informatics, said the award is recognition of the very high calibre and skills of South African consultants and staff it employs, and a vindication of its decision to enter the international consulting market aggressively, where South African consultants are in high demand for their outstanding skills and dedication to providing customer satisfaction.
