Premier ACCPAC Solution Provider, AccTech Systems, has installed ACCPAC Advantage Series Enterprise Edition (EE) and ACCPAC CRM at the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to Tertius Zitzke, Managing Director of AccTech Systems, the Chamber`s main function is to provide services to its vast database of members.
"The Chamber opted for ACCPAC CRM to manage and update membership information which is now accessible on the organisation`s Web site. Data is easily extracted from the Microsoft SQL database that is also used to run ACCPAC financials."
According to Trevor Douglas, financial manager at the Chamber, the new ACCPAC system offers valuable new functionality to users. "Members get assigned to specific vertical markets when they are captured in CRM and the Chamber is able to pull databases according to industry sectors," he says.
"This means that if a member wants to market a specific product to, say, the automotive industry, we can facilitate the process through the delivery of reports that are customised according to specific needs."
Douglas says that, in the past, sourcing billing details was a cumbersome process. "Now, these details can be updated using CRM`s user-friendly interface and the bi-directional dataflow between CRM and ACCPAC Advantage updates the information on the billing system at the click of a button."
In addition, CRM`s Event Management module allows the Chamber to effortlessly manage available conference facilities, seamlessly handling invitations, booking confirmations and previous booking details.
