Dean Tebbutt (BComm Business Information Systems) joined Volition Consulting Services (Pty) Ltd at the beginning of 2004 to lead the Technology Enablement business unit. His focus includes business intelligence, information technology design and application development. Dean's expertise includes IT Strategy, Program Management and Systems development. He has over 13 years experience in IT solution design and implementation with broad exposure to enterprise scale technology solutions. Before joining Volition, Dean spent 5 years with IOCORE in the field of business intelligence and custom application development and prior to that, 4 years with Oracle Consulting Services.
Dean is also involved in business development and delivery related presentations to customers and internal presentations to staff on an ongoing basis.

Volition has recently completed a project aimed at automating core processes for the Metal and Engineering Industry Bargaining Council (MEIBC). The MEIBC is the largest bargaining council in South Africa and had unique requirements in terms of remote process execution combined with complex workflow requirements. Based on the success of this project, Volition was commissioned to develop further technology solutions for the MEIBC's sister organisation MIBFA (Metal Industries Benefit Funds Administrators).
Volition has successfully deployed a series of web based process integration and collaboration solutions for Fintech and Gestetner. Volition assisted these organisation in defining collaborative processes as well as implementing technologies to facilitate in automating this collaboration.
Volition plays the role of 'Turnkey Solution Provider' to BMW ZA on the BMW Autoline Implementation project for South Africa. This entails ownership and delivery responsibility for the functions of System Implementation, 1st, 2nd and 3rd level User Support and Product Management.
