Corex announces newest Thermaltake Ruby Orb

Johannesburg, 10 Nov 2006

The official South African Thermaltake distributor Corex is delighted to announce the newest member of the Orb series CPU coolers - the all-new Ruby Orb.

The Ruby Orb utilises a radial dissipation design that is unique in the cooling industry. The number of cooling fins multiplies as they extend from the centre of Ruby Orb to reduce backpressure on the fan and encourage heat dissipation.

The Y-split fin design allows the Ruby Orb to maximise its cooling fins up to 140 fins at the end to provide extended cooling surface and smooth airflow.

"The Ruby Orb uses a 120mm ultra-silent fan outputting only 17dBA to let the users enjoy peace and quiet while the computer is performing at its very best," says Matthew Hall, general manager of Corex.

The Ruby Orb differs from Thermaltake's famous Blue Orb ii in that it is made of entirely aluminium for weight reduction.

The Ruby Orb supports Intel's newest Core 2 Duo CPU and AMD AM2 CPU, perfect for Socket LGA775/AM2/939/940/754 processors.

In addition, the Thermaltake Ruby Orb features an incredible aluminium fin count: 140 fins also maximising heat dissipation area, Universal design for Intel Socket LGA775 and AMD Socket 754/939/940/AM2.

The brilliance, performance and quietness of the Ruby Orb is sure to be the best choice for computer enthusiasts, concludes Hall.
