Companies looking to implement customer relationship management (CRM) and e-business applications can be assured their Siebel 6 environment has been accurately tested if they run Compuware`s QARun functional testing tool.
"As Compuware is the only company to offer a functional testing tool that is validated to test Siebel applications, it clearly sets us apart from other industry competitors," says Alex Faul, product manager at Compuware SA.
QARun 4.7 and 4.8 have both been validated to test Siebel 6 (previously known as Siebel 2000). Validation means that QARun has undergone rigorous testing in the Siebel labs to verify that it provides accurate automation and verification capabilities with Siebel 6 applications.
"Not only have QA 4.7 and 4.8 been validated for Siebel 6 but QARun 4.8 and QALoad are both scheduled to be validated for the soon to be released, Siebel 7," comments Faul.
QARun enables testers to efficiently create repeatable, automated tests of Siebel`s e-business applications. In addition, the validation with Siebel streamlines the time-consuming test script development and execution process required to test the Siebel environment, ensuring that it meets end-user functionality.
Faul points out that both Compuware and Siebel`s customers will benefit from the validation. "Our customers are guaranteed that their Siebel applications will be thoroughly tested with QARun and Siebel customers now have a functional testing tool validated to work with their Siebel e-business applications."
While other functional testing tools may support Siebel, Compuware`s QARun is the only solution guaranteed to work according to Siebel`s e-business applications` requirements.
