Collaborit is to broaden its horizons and gain more recognition in the international market through an effort to globalise its enterprise asset management (EAM) services and solutions portfolio. The asset management engineering company with its head office located in Centurion, South Africa, has committed to a five-year strategic plan to make this happen.
The planned expansion of the business outside of South Africa’s borders is a main priority and it aims to make this happen by forging strategic relationships that are built on the trusted delivery of Collaborit’s services and unique EAM for SAP Solution Suite.
To become more relevant in the international market, the company is in the process of digitising all its offerings. The aim is to enable customers’ digitalisation strategies around offerings such as the cloud, Internet of things, big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual presence and smart assets. “We believe that not only will this enhance our value proposition to our existing customers, but enable us to penetrate different markets and customers, which in turn will yield growth and return value for all stakeholders,” says CEO, SAP Solutions and Services, Nico van der Walt.
Collaborit has been announced as a Community Sponsor at the Mastering SAP Enterprise Asset Management Conference. This annual conference, currently in its 22 year, will take place on 25 and 26 of November on Australia’s Gold Coast. This sponsorship ties in well with the firm’s aim to increase its global presence and expand internationally.
Collaborit recently opened an office in Canada, and activities are currently under way to establish offices in Eastern and Western Europe, Australia and South America.
If its latest accomplishments are anything to go by, Collaborit is well on its way to achieve international success and the globalisation of its services and solutions portfolio. Sales enablement agreements with various international partners have already been confirmed, while two major projects in Australia were recently awarded.
While future plans are put in place to expand internationally, the company also aims to become more locally relevant and expand its footprint in the Southern and Central African market.
“We want to become the best and most relevant digital asset management company and, in the process, improve the lives of our people and our customers.”
With a keen interest in wanting to move South Africa forward, Group Chairman, Jannie Potgieter says: “At Collaborit, we believe in inclusive transformation. That’s why we’re committed to be a significant contributor to skills development, job creation and localisation to build our nation.”
This forms part of the firm’s vision of an environment in which all South Africans can prosper and grow. Collaborit’s association with the University of Pretoria, whereby Professor Johann Wannenburg provides skills development and training, is testimony to Collaborit’s commitment towards this worthy cause.
With regards to shareholding, the firm is currently on a fast-tracked exercise to increase its equity shareholding, tackle youth and unemployment issues, and come up with creative networks to materially improve some of the country’s critical challenges.
Collaborit owns a comprehensive suite of expert services and solutions. Its streamlined offering combines SAP and Asset Management into one integrated package. Its SAP, Enterprise Asset Management and Engineering Services Units jointly contribute to the overall success of the company.
