Bytes using CA's Nimsoft in managed service provider offering

Bytes Universal Systems is using CA Nimsoft Monitor, from CA Southern Africa, to provide the monitoring and reporting component of its cloud-based managed services offering. This capability is becoming ever more important as companies' ICT systems are mission-critical and increasingly distributed.

Bytes, which is one of the pioneers of managed service provision in South Africa, is providing a growing array of clients with a range of cloud-based services. These services span the infrastructure through to the software layers, including operating systems, databases, application servers and even business applications like SAP and Oracle.

Launched into the South African market by CA Southern Africa in 2012, Nimsoft is a CA Technologies brand, providing leading IT management as a service solutions. The product allows IT departments or service providers to monitor the performance of all components of their increasingly heterogeneous ICT environments. CA Nimsoft Monitor is positioned for service providers with multi-tenant, customisable dashboards and reports, excellent scalability, and more. With CA Nimsoft Monitor, service providers have the ability to create and share customised dashboards and reports based on what end-users want to see. CA Nimsoft Monitor scales to service provider environments both technically and from a business perspective as customers and managed devices are added.
