What does this mean?
Corporations can enjoy 135% of their spend on level 1 BEE compliant service providers against their own preferential procurement scoring, hence allowing them to significantly compete as well. Service providers that are not B-BBEE certified, or scoring lower levels, do not provide them with this advantage. Thus, using BUI as a level 1 service provider can assist with your BEE contribution.
