Bytes Technology Group (BTG) has implemented its odd-lot share offer, with over 3 500 shares purchased by shareholders electing to increase their share holding to 100 shares.
Some 27 561 shares were sold by those shareholders who had less than 100 shares, and 4 403 shares were retained by shareholders who did not accept the offer.
BTG told shareholders the total number of shares purchased by odd-lot holders who chose to increase their holding to 100 is 3 686. These shares were purchased for R11.81 a share, a total of R43 531.66.
"The total number of shares sold by odd-lot holders pursuant to the odd-lot offer was 27 561 shares," it said. These shares were sold by such odd-lot holders at R12.40 a share, being the offer price plus a premium of 5%, which came to R341 756.40.
By midday, the company`s shares were trading at R11.15, 3.04% down on the day. Monday`s close was at R11.50.
