The company's common stock will begin trading on Nasdaq on Monday, 10 November, under the symbol BVSN.

Vivotech unveils payment reader

Vivotech, a US provider of contactless payment systems, has launched the Vivopay Kiosk II, a flexible contactless payment reader for the kiosk, transit turnstile, bus validator and ticketing markets, reports Market Watch.

The two-piece modular reader enables easy installation in new self-service systems and is certified to work with all major contactless payment programmes. It does so without requiring the total systems to go through a rigorous and costly compliance re-certification process with card associations and network providers.

"Self-service markets are experiencing rapid growth worldwide and manufacturers of self-service systems are demanding a flexible pre-certified contactless reader that can be quickly and easily installed in new systems," said Mohammad Khan, Vivotech president and founder.

Fujitsu, RTS partner

Fujitsu Transaction Solutions has partnered with Ready Theatre Systems (RTS) to provide Fujitsu's U-Serv 100 and U-Serv 150 self-service kiosks to movie theatre companies across North America, reports Market Watch

Under the agreement, RTS will integrate its RTS Ticketing Software with the Fujitsu kiosks and Fujitsu will provide ongoing hardware services and maintenance for the systems. Fujitsu's U-Serv systems are self-ordering kiosks designed for a variety of food-service and entertainment venues such as quick-service restaurants, casinos and theatres.

"RTS is well respected among movie theatre owners, and will be an excellent partner as we continue targeting our U-Serv kiosks and other technology to that industry," said Cathy Boss-Fessel, director marketing, channels/alliances for Fujitsu Transaction Solutions.
