Yellowfin released its business intelligence application specifically designed for the iPhone, reports Dynamic Business.
The application allows access to corporate data on the go. The application has been designed to sharpen the focus on key performance indicators, and give users a full range of functionality to explore relationships in data and deliver hundreds of reports to an organisation.
Yellowfin CEO, Glen Rabie, said business owners are increasingly using their smartphones for business where they want instant access to data without the fuss.
BI dashboard monitors flu cases
Healthcare provider Kaleida Health is monitoring daily cases of patients showing flu symptoms across its five-hospital system with the help of a BI dashboard developed using Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition, states CNNMoney.
The dashboard enables a team of 35 including hospital presidents, chief nursing officers and others to understand trends related to patients with flu symptoms, and track trends related to staff with flu-like symptoms.
It also tracks how the trending information impacts staffing levels, and reports the number of flu cases to the New York State Department of Health.
