Zambia National Commercial Bank (ZANACO), Zambia's largest bank, signed an agreement to purchase Xpertek's new SFI Payment Switch (eVolve) on 21 July 2009. With this purchase, ZANACO expects to streamline its banking processes and improve its customer offering.
ZANACO was running several systems for payments, clearing and settlements with no integration and considerable manual intervention. Ideally, the bank required an integrated system that fulfilled all functions.
ZANACO is the leading bank in Zambia servicing the retail, corporate and government sectors of the economy, and wishes to deliver on its mission promise of exceeding stakeholder expectations for all segments of the Zambian public.
Once implemented, Xpertek's SFI eVolve will replace the existing three payment systems and provide a seamless environment to handle all aspects of the bank's operation between external payment originators and back-office processing, with optimum security.
