ATIO, a specialist ICT service provider with almost 25 years' experience in the industry, has selected Kaseya as its automated managed services software supplier in South Africa.
According to Paul Mowat, ATIO interactive division's Head of Operations and Technical Delivery: “We were looking for a system that could improve the efficiency of our technical delivery and allow us to proactively support our customers. We were impressed with VSA and the functionality it provided and with the way the service desk was integrated into the overall system. The process automation, monitoring, remote management, patch management and change control facilities within Kaseya provided a good match for what ATIO was looking for. We also wanted a product with some local support and a local user base.”
ATIO interactive division has four focus areas: call centre, unified communications, converged networks and managed services. On average, ATIO looks after clients with around 100 to 600 end points.
“We looked at some other systems but they did not meet our criteria. We tried one other product but struggled to get it working with remote support. With Kaseya we expect the monitoring function to help us be more proactive and thereby give more value to our customers. We also expect the Kaseya system to help us apply our significant engineering resources in a more productive way. Already we are finding the monitoring system Kaseya provides to be very useful,” explains Mowat.
