Army of Two rides again

EA has finally revealed the title and details for the Army of Two sequel, subtitled The 40th Day, reports CVG.

This comes after a teaser site was spotted sneaking onto the Internet, even though it didn't say much.

EA has now, however, revealed all, confirming the new name and spilling a load of plot and gameplay details.

Electronic Arts held the Lord of the Rings licence throughout the triumphant years of the Peter Jackson films, writes VentureBeat.

But apparently it has surrendered the rights back to Tolkien Enterprises, which in turn has given the licence to Warner Bros, which has a game division.

The companies haven't confirmed this account, originally reported by Variety.

Fable II fans will be pleased to know that their adventures won't end with Knothole Island, says GameSpy.

The Fable II development team is working on new content for their top-selling RPG, which will be released as DLC.
