The META Group, a leading provider of information technology research, advisory services and strategic consulting, is pleased to announce that arivia.kom has confirmed it will be a co-prime sponsor for METAmorphosis 2005, to be held from 24 to 26 May 2005 at the Caesars Convention Centre.
At least 450 delegates involved in information management are expected to attend the conference, which is themed 'Breakthrough business performance: Driving pervasive integration through IT innovation`.
"We are excited to be one of the main sponsors for this event," says Zakes Mnisi, managing executive, Infrastructure Business for arivia.kom. "As a leading IT services company in SA, arivia.kom is pleased to promote the advancement of IT expertise in our country through authoritative bodies like the META Group. This conference will provide valuable insights into the effective integration of rapidly evolving IT capabilities with the equally dynamic demands of the business world."
Pervasive computing is nearly a reality. Information is being digitised, products have embedded chips and processes are being automated. So what`s the problem? The problem is that almost none of it is integrated! This is the next grand challenge for IT: pervasive integration.
"Arivia.kom provides customised business solutions that include the entire spectrum of information technology services. Our focus on high-end business technology solutions and strategic consulting is perfectly aligned with the theme of the conference. In addition, arivia.kom specialises in solutions and system integration and the next logical step is pervasive integration," says Sipho Yeni, arivia.kom`s managing executive, Focused Business Solutions.
META Group has formalised the business breakthrough performance model and its three supporting foundations in what is called the Technology-Enabled Enterprise Framework (TEEF) - a conceptual architecture supported by tools, templates and methods.
With TEEF as an overarching theme, METAmorphosis 2005 will sort through the hype and provide actionable guidance and best practices needed to master company innovation, integration and execution challenges.
Attendees will represent the entire spectrum of the global information community, from government and academia to virtually every sector of the business world.
