A contract to supply, implement and support a SAP Business One financial and accounting ERP software system for Vereeniging-based specialist pump engineering company Aklin Carbide, has been won by SAP Business One specialist 4most, a Logic Group company.
The solution is scheduled to go live at the end of November and includes financials, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashbook, purchasing, sales inventory and workflow approval procedures and alerts. It will operate on a local area network (LAN).
Leon Jacobs, 4most corporate sales, said the solution will also provide Enprise job costing to monitor Aklin Carbide reconditioning projects and ensure management has quick and easy access to progress reports and production status information.
The full integration of the business into SAP Business One and Enprise job costing will eliminate duplication and recapturing of information and provide Aklin Carbide management with real-time views of all information relating to stock, project progress and production.
“The SAP solution, once commissioned and fully operational with full ERP functionality, will lead to measurable improvements in productivity and control,” said Jacobs.
