Advanced function for ATMs
Signalling the arrival of automated teller machine's (ATM's), next generation, Diebold's Opteva ATM captured the imagination of the banking industry and consumers worldwide with its introduction in 2003, reports CNN.
Four years later, Diebold is celebrating the sale of its 100 000th Opteva machine, to Missouri- based Commerce Bank, whose mission includes providing customers with the latest advances in self-service banking solutions.
The sale carries on the 20 year relationship between Diebold and Commerce.

Five adopt Neptune
Five financial institutions in Nigeria have signed on to Neptune's Orbit banking solution after a thorough evaluation and selection process, involving several other microfinance banking solution competitors in Nigeria, reports This Day.
These financial institutions include Susu Microfinance Bank, Omega Savings & Loans, Parkway Microfinance Bank, New Heights Microfinance Bank and Abbey Building Society.
A statement disclosed that during the evaluation process, Orbit proved itself to be a functionality-rich banking solution designed to deliver robust solutions to meet all the needs of modern micro banks and other microfinance institutions.
