ADP, a global tech firm that provides human capital management (HCM) solutions, has acquired Sage South Africa’s payroll outsourcing business.
According to a statement, the acquisition comes after a strategic alliance between the businesses had been established in SA over the past 12 years.
By integrating Sage SA’s local payroll expertise with ADP’s global reach and HCM solutions, ADP says it will be able to provide clients with an enhanced experience to help grow and scale their business.
Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sage is a multinational enterprise software company providing enterprise resource planning software to small and medium businesses. Sage’s South Africa payroll outsourcing business was established in 2002 and provides local expertise and payroll solutions to its regional clients.
