Dax Data, Adobe's leading distributor for southern Africa has announced the new Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Programme now available across sub-Saharan Africa.
The programme is designed to recognise and reward resellers for their sales and technical expertise, level of engagement with Adobe and commitment to promoting Adobe technologies and solutions to customers.
Dax Data now provides its current ecosystem of resellers with a simple, consistent structure that rewards resellers who increase their knowledge of Adobe technologies and are motivated to illustrate these to their customers.
Adobe Regional Manager for sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and Israel, Grant O'Connor says: "With our new channel programme we have the optimal structure to work better and more closely with our partners".
Jeremy Matthews MD of Dax Data says "the Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Programme is built around four principles: encouraging active selling, engaging with us as a distributor, managing the channel in new ways and elevating the conversations about Adobe technologies with the end user".
"In the past we have offered individual bonuses or incentives, but Dax Data is now presenting its resellers with the opportunity to participate in a highly integrated and comprehensive programme that will reward resellers proportionally for their level of commitment in selling Adobe products," explains Matthews.
The three levels of membership allow resellers to engage with Dax Data and Adobe at a level representing the organisation's resources, areas of specialty, and commitment to the relationship, while obligations and benefits increase at higher levels.
Registered: Basic membership provides access to Transactional Licensing Programmes and shrink-wrap programmes.
Certified: Requires a minimum number of Adobe Certified Sales Professionals in exchange for access to Cumulative Licensing Programmes (CLP), Deal Registration, and Specialisations.
Gold: Adds revenue and other business commitments in exchange for an Adobe account manager and joint business and marketing planning.

In order to receive the significant benefits offered by the next level in the programme - Certified Reseller, partners can attend free, self-paced online training courses and exams to attain the relevant certification.
Deal Registration is one of the main highlights of the programme; it enables Adobe to compensate partners for their pre-sales efforts. The partner that registers the deal is the partner that gets the rebate; not necessarily the reseller who closes the sale. This incentive will turn most sales opportunities into a significantly more profitable sales engagement that will reward high-performing resellers.
Deal Registration is reserved for resellers at the Certified and above level. "Tools like Deal Registration make actively selling Adobe products more attractive and allow resellers to significantly increase their profitability," adds Matthews.
Dax Data will be actively involved in Adobe's activities to create, enable and expand the reseller ecosystem, as well as carrying out new and exciting marketing and market development activities that will benefit resellers at all levels.
