ADC introduces suite for mass spectrometry

PMSight has scheduled two project and portfolio (PPM) training workshops to be held on 27 and 28 November, and 29 and 30 November.

Both course, which will be suitable for project management professionals and portfolio managers, will be held at The Campus in Bryanston, the company says in a media statement.

Candidates will earn up to 14 contact hours towards their Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional qualifications by attending the interactive workshop, it says.

Advanced Chemistry Development (ADC) has unveiled a development suite for mass spectrometry, which supports project management (PM).

The ACD/Method Development Suite for Microsoft allows chromatographers to manage their projects, not just their samples. A concise overview of the project is presented, including the experiments performed, component retention times, chromatograms, and spectra, along with the rationale behind each experiment.

"We believe that the ability to efficiently track and summarise projects will result in a giant leap forward in productivity for method development laboratories," says Michael McBrien, ACD/Labs chromatography product manager.

Big X Consulting has unveiled a Web-based project collaboration application called CommuniClique, reports VOIP Planet.

CommuniClique contains the task-tracking, recording, and reporting apparatus associated with traditional project management software - complete with dashboard style management-level rollup views - but with an added emphasis on communications tools, both real-time and asynchronous, says Big X.

The application's communication "switchboard" provides many elements of enterprise collaboration tools, including document sharing, screen sharing, threaded text messaging, e-mail, and, most significantly voice over IP.
