National radio station 5fm and e-tailer Kalahari.net have launched a service to sell 5fm`s Top 40 music collection online.
The partnership will allow 5fm listeners to buy CDs featured in the 5fm Top 40 directly from the 5fm Web site and have them delivered within 24 hours.
5fm station manager John Langford says the deal brings a lot of value to listeners. "Hear it on our shows, see it on our site, order it online and have it delivered by the next day."
Gary Hadfield, commercial manager of Kalahari.net, sees the collaboration as a winning combination. "The target markets of 5fm and Kalahari.net overlap to such an extent that a partnership of this nature is a natural progression of the relationship that has always existed between the two," he says.
To order CDs, go to www.5fm.co.za, click on Music and Charts, click on the buy button next to the chosen CD and Kalahari.net will deliver the CD within 24 hours.
