The 4.5-inch Android Motorola Moto G has dominated Orange online sales for two quarters.

Since the January 2013 launch of the Orange online store, which offers high-end devices that are not available locally, the French telco says sales have surpassed its initial expectations.

"Uptake continues to grow monthly, with the first quarter of 2015 being a particularly successful quarter in terms of sales," says Orange.

Country manager Blake Levitan says the online store - the foundation of the company's local consumer foray in SA - has allowed Orange to "grow its local presence and commitment to the local market".

These are the products most consumers have invested in through the online store so far this year:

2. Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
3. LG G3
