A new report by Rubrik Zero Labs, ‘The state of data security: Measuring your data’s risk’, has found that 94% of IT and security leaders said their organisation experienced a significant cyber attack last year. Of these, 66% of the attacks occurred in cloud environments.

The research also found that 93% of external organisations conducted a formal data loss notification to a governing organisation. In addition, one in three Americans had their healthcare data compromised last year, and 20% of a typical healthcare organisation’s sensitive data is impacted every time there is a successful ransomware attack.
