Sergey Soldatov is an information security expert with more than 20 years’ experience. He leads the SOC (Security Operations Center) at Kaspersky and is responsible for monitoring and proactive threat hunting, provided in Kaspersky Managed Detection and Response, and compromise assessment services. Sergey is highly involved in the support and development of the SOC architecture and processes, research and detection engineering, and team management.

He has advanced skills in designing and implementing IT security systems – such as IDS/IPS, web content protection, vulnerability assessment and others; conducting internal security audits; IT security risk analysis and management; and building and organising information security divisions, in particular security operation centers. Before joining Kaspersky, he worked in non-profit and leading commercial organisations, namely RN-Inform Ltd (Rosneft), TNK-BP and the Russian institute for Public Networks.

Sergey holds recognised qualifications and certifications including, CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional). He graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technological University.
